      French-Style Rabbit with Mustard Cream Sauce

      French-Style Rabbit with Mustard Cream Sauce

      Classic French countryside elegance. Delicate rabbit in a rich Dijon and white wine sauce.

      Ingredients:

      • 1 rabbit, jointed
      • Salt and pepper
      • 2 tbsp butter
      • 1 onion, sliced
      • 2 garlic cloves, minced
      • 1/2 cup dry white wine
      • 1 cup chicken stock
      • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
      • 1/2 cup cream
      • Fresh tarragon

      Instructions:

      1. Season and brown rabbit in butter.
      2. Sauté onion and garlic until soft.
      3. Add wine, stock, and mustard. Return rabbit and simmer 45 minutes.
      4. Stir in cream and tarragon. Simmer 10 more minutes.
      5. Serve with buttery potatoes or green beans.
